Life Coaching - Things To Know
What does a coach do?
I'm your advocate, accountability partner and change expert. I don't tell you what to do, I guide you in making decisions based on your life circumstances, time availability and personality. My goal is to help you achieve measurable results.
What should I expect?
Coaching takes place via phone so location and distance are never an issue. We will meet weekly at a predetermined time to review your progress, problem-solve areas where you are stuck, and set action steps related to your goal. As the client, you are in control of the agenda.
Why do I have to sign up for a whole package?
Clients come to me because they are stuck or unmotivated. Although we may have success with a few sessions, life often gets in the way and momentum is lost or diverted. Packages give you opportunity to problem-solve through rough patches with support in order to effect long-lasting change.
I do offer single sessions for clients who have completed a package.
What should I know about hiring a coach?
Since coaching is an unregulated industry, make sure your coach has training from an International Coaching Federation approved organization. My training through Lifeforming Leadership Coaching/Christian Coaching School meets all of their criteria for accreditation.
Coaches can help you in many areas of your life but it's best to look for one who specializes in your primary need. Also, get to know them to make sure they are a good fit for you.
